I wear many hats.

Storyteller, researcher, designer, word-girl. The thread that ties them together is simple: I love shaping ideas into something meaningful.

I studied linguistics at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, where I learned how language shapes the way we see the world—and how to take big, complex ideas and make them clear and engaging for all kinds of audiences.

(Also, I can tell you why baba means “father” in so many languages—babies are the original linguistic influencers…)

When I'm not deep into Final Cut or Adobe Creative Cloud, you might find me writing music or crafting the perfect crossword puzzle.
